Home Page

A Home Page is generally the main page a visitor navigating to a website from a web search engine will see, and it may also serve as a landing page to attract visitors. The home page is used to facilitate navigation to other pages on the site by providing links to prioritized and recent articles and pages. It consists one or more sections following a hero.

Hero

The Hero, a large banner image or graphic, is prominently placed front and center on the home page. It is often the first visual element a visitor encounters on the site and presents an overview of the site's most important content.  The Hero image can be static or dynamic, and can include additonal content of a title, summary, and/or link.

Section

The Sections of a home page are comprised of a section heading and a wysiwyg editor for section main content. Underneath this content, editors can add a row containing one to three columns.  Each column can contain a column heading, column main content, and a column component.  An optional sidebar, spannnig the height of the section and aside of the section's main content and columns, can be populated with multiple components.
