Interior Page

wysiwyg-example.jpgAn Interior Page is the most used page type within the template. It primarily consists of the page title and a wysiwyg editor for basic page content with an optional column aside of this content containing the sub-navigation. For more robust pages, additional content rows can be added; each ranging from simple wysiwyg content to more complex custom structured components.

Main / Overview Content

The Main Content / Overview region for an interior page can hold all the content for the page. Content is input through a wysiwyg field that contains all elements and classes for developing a complete, user-friendly page.

Editors may opt to enter all the content for a page in this region and customize it with the wysiwyg tools, as seen on this page. Alternatively, an editor may use this region as only an introduction to information in the Content Rows region.

Hero Image

A Hero Image is now available for all interior page types.  People respond positively to visual content. Using a hero image will attract the visitor's attention to be immediately captured and entice visitors to explore the site further.

Right Sidebar

The Right Sidebar allows for adding deeper navigation into a section of the website. In addition to having expandable navigation, there are multiple components that can be added to the sidebar. These components range from simple callouts to related content, to specialized Quicklink menus, and contact information for topics found on the page.

The Secondary Navigation, found at the top of the Right Sidebar, provides an expandable menu of available pages found within the current top-level section for the site. The menu will expand subsections and highlight links in relation to the current page being viewed. This menu provides deeper access to subsections of the site of which the main navigation cannot provide.

Content Rows

Content Rows are beneficial when a page's main content section becomes lengthy. Multiple rows of content can be added to a page to create a more user-friendly page. The Jump Menu option can be activated to give quicker access to a specific row of data. The Jump Menu is displayed at the beginning of the page and will only appear when multiple content rows are added to a page.

Each content row contains a heading, optional custom content input through a wysiwyg input, and/or a component. Components transform structured content into engaging and interactive widgets without site editors needing to know how to create complex web scripts.
